Please be advised that STARTING FROM SUNDAY, 25 MAY 2025, voters who have not yet received their postal voting package for the abrogative referendums to be held on 8 and 9 June at their registered residential address may request a DUPLICATE from this Embassy.
The request for a duplicate may be submitted in person at the Consular Office or sent by post, regular email (consolare.manila@esteri.it), or certified email (amb.manila@cert.esteri.it). The request – which may be completed using the form available here – must be accompanied by a valid form of identification.
Voters requesting a duplicate of the electoral package must declare that they are aware of the criminal liability associated with double voting, as provided under Article 18, paragraph 2, of Law 459/2001, which states: “Anyone who, on the occasion of parliamentary elections or referendums, votes both by post and in person at their last registered polling station in Italy, or who votes more than once by post, shall be punished with imprisonment from one to three years and a fine ranging from 52 to 258 euros.”
Following the necessary verifications, this Embassy will provide the relevant instructions to the applicants for the issuance of the duplicate. The duplicate may either be sent to the applicant’s residential address (provided there is sufficient time for delivery) or collected in person during the Consular Office’s opening hours:
- Monday: 09:00 – 12:00
- Tuesday: 09:00 – 12:00
- Wednesday: 09:00 – 12:00 and 14:00 – 16:00
- Thursday: Closed to the public
- Friday: 09:00 – 12:00
Please be reminded that this Office, exclusively for the issuance of duplicate electoral voting packages, will also observe the following extraordinary opening hours:
- Thursday: 09:00 – 12:00
- Saturday, 31 May: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Lastly, please be reminded that the pre-paid return envelopes containing the completed ballot papers must reach this Embassy no later than 16:00 on Thursday, 5 June 2025.
