Applications open for ASEF culture360’s ‘Arts Journalism Matters’ Fellowship

The Arts Journalism Matters Fellowship, organised by culture360.ASEF.org and the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU), returns for its fourth edition, targeting early-career cultural journalists based in the Philippines.

The 2025 program will focus on “Art and Environmental Sustainability” and will select three fellows to take part in the following activities:

  • Online mentorship (November–December 2025) with Malaya Del Rosario
  • Production of journalistic content (articles, interviews or podcasts)
  • Participation in the launch event of the Green Guide for the Philippines (February 2026, Manila)
  • Publication of all outputs on culture360.ASEF.org

Fellowship grant: SGD 300, with travel and accommodation expenses for the event covered.

Eligibility criteria:

  • 3–6 years of experience in arts and culture journalism
  • Excellent command of English
  • Strong interest in art and environmental issues
