Work

Non-EU citizens who intend to work in Italy must apply for a work visa and then, once in Italy, apply for a residence permit.

Download the National ‘D’ visa application form and the following document checklist here, if the duration of the contract is longer than 90 days.

With the exceptions provided for in the regulations, in order to be able to apply for a visa for subordinate work, it is necessary in advance to obtain in Italy from the Sportello Unico per l’Immigrazione (SUI) the nulla osta al lavoro.
