Timeframe for application for visas<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Applications shall be lodged no more than <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>6 months before the start of the intended visit,<\/strong><\/span> (for seafarers no more than nine months), and, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>no later than 15 calendar days before the date<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Applications may be lodged by the applicant, by an accredited commercial intermediary, by a professional, cultural, sports or educational association or institution in behalf of its member.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>2. Visa fee<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The cost for visa applications will increase from 60 to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>80 EUR<\/strong><\/span> for applicants over 12 years old, and from 35 to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>40 EUR<\/strong><\/span> for applicants between 6 years old and below 12 years old.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Regulation EU 2019\/1155 amended Regulation EC No. 810\/2009 establishing a Community Code on Visas which will start to apply on 2 February 2020.
