Narducci died in a car accident on June 22, 2018, at the age of 29. The Award is in honor of his personality and values, a commemoration of his legacy to inspire future generations of chefs, as well as an initiative to promote Italian cuisine around the world.<\/p>\n<p>The 5 competitors for this year were: Andre Santos (winner), Karl Watson, Ricel Gabi, Laetitia Bugarin and Arik Ibale.<\/p>\n<p>The event that the Embassy organized took place on November 29th at 11:00, streamed online via Zoom and Facebook.
