{"id":562,"date":"2022-11-21T08:29:50","date_gmt":"2022-11-21T00:29:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambmanila.esteri.it\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2022\/11\/international-silent-film-festival-2\/"},"modified":"2022-11-21T08:29:50","modified_gmt":"2022-11-21T00:29:50","slug":"international-silent-film-festival-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ambmanila.esteri.it\/en\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2022\/11\/international-silent-film-festival-2\/","title":{"rendered":"International Silent Film Festival Manila 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>International Silent Film Festival Manila 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The annual <strong>International Silent Film Festival Manila (ISFFM)<\/strong> is now back with in-person festivities in celebration of its 16th edition <strong>from 24 November until 27 November 2022<\/strong> at the Red Carpet, <strong>Shangri-La Mall, Mandaluyong City<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This year&#8217;s ISFFM is presented by seven partner embassies and cultural organizations: <strong>Embassy of France to the Philippines<\/strong>, <strong>Goethe-Institut Philippinen<\/strong>, <strong>Embassy of Italy in Manila<\/strong>, <strong>The Japan Foundation Manila<\/strong>, <strong>Film Development Council of the Philippines<\/strong>, <strong>Instituto Cervantes de Manila<\/strong> and <strong>the British Council in the Philippines<\/strong>, in partnership with Shangri-La Plaza, Red Carpet Cinemas, The Philippine Italian Association, Embassy of Japan in the Philippines and Embassy of Spain in the Philippines.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The four-day Silent Film Festival will start on Thursday, 24 November, with the screening of British film &#8220;Piccadilly&#8221;, which will be followed by\u00a0&#8220;Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror&#8221; (Germany), &#8220;La sultane de l\u2019amour&#8221; (France), &#8220;Malvaloca&#8221; (Spain), &#8220;The Lady and the Beard&#8221; (Japan). Philippines will participate with three short films.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Embassy, in partnership with <strong>The Philippine Italian Association<\/strong> and in cooperation with <strong>Cineteca di Bologna<\/strong> presents:1921 Ubaldo Maria Del Colle masterpiece\u00a0<strong>&#8220;I Figli di Nessuno&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0(Nobody&#8217;s Children).
