{"id":2673,"date":"2024-02-28T11:56:29","date_gmt":"2024-02-28T03:56:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambmanila.esteri.it\/?p=2673"},"modified":"2024-02-28T12:08:28","modified_gmt":"2024-02-28T04:08:28","slug":"grants-for-schools-under-chapter-2619-2-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ambmanila.esteri.it\/en\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2024\/02\/grants-for-schools-under-chapter-2619-2-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Grants for schools under chapter 2619\/2 \u20132024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For the promotion of the Italian language and culture in <strong>foreign schools<\/strong>, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, through <a href=\"https:\/\/ambmanila.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/CM_20568.pdf\">Decree No. 4815\/0229<\/a>, defines the criteria and procedures for the request of contributions from foreign schools allocated under chapter 2619\/2 for the calendar year 2024.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">These contributions are granted for:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>the <strong>establishment<\/strong> and <strong>maintenance of existing Italian chairs<\/strong> in foreign educational institutions, intended to <u>partially cover the salaries of teachers<\/u> hired directly by the schools under contracts governed by local law;<\/li>\n<li>alternatively, to contribute <u>part of the cost<\/u> of <strong>scholarships<\/strong> and <strong>study visits to Italy<\/strong> for honor students of Italian.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Schools interested in formalizing their request must submit the application through the Embassy at the following e-mail address: <a href=\"mailto:manila.culturale@esteri.it\">manila.culturale@esteri.it<\/a> <strong>no later than <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">March 14, 2024<\/span><\/strong>, along with the following documents:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>LETTER OF THE REQUESTING EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION<\/strong> written in Italian, containing the school&#8217;s identification details (name, address, contact information) and a detailed explanation of the request, signed by the school\u2019s director.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ambmanila.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/ALL.-A_2024-editabile.pdf\"><strong>ALL &#8220;A&#8221;<\/strong><\/a> for requests for contributions to chairs of Italian language and <a href=\"https:\/\/ambmanila.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/ALL.-B_2024-editabile.pdf\"><strong>&#8220;B&#8221;<\/strong><\/a> for requests for scholarships\/study trips to Italy.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ambmanila.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/ALL.-A-2_2024-editabile.pdf\"><strong>ALL &#8220;A2&#8221; <\/strong><\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/ambmanila.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/ALL.-B-2_2024-editabile.pdf\"><strong>&#8220;B2&#8221;<\/strong><\/a> to report on the results achieved and evidence of the usage of the last grant received.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"For the promotion of the Italian language and culture in foreign schools, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, through Decree No. 4815\/0229, defines the criteria and procedures for the request of contributions from foreign schools allocated under chapter 2619\/2 for the calendar year 2024.
