{"id":176,"date":"2023-04-11T18:22:39","date_gmt":"2023-04-11T10:22:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambmanila.esteri.it\/servizi-consolari-e-visti\/servizi-per-il-cittadino-straniero\/traduzione-e-legalizzazione-dei-documenti\/"},"modified":"2025-02-17T15:38:33","modified_gmt":"2025-02-17T07:38:33","slug":"traduzione-e-legalizzazione-dei-documenti","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ambmanila.esteri.it\/en\/servizi-consolari-e-visti\/servizi-per-il-cittadino-straniero\/traduzione-e-legalizzazione-dei-documenti\/","title":{"rendered":"Translation and legalization of documents"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p><strong>Legalization by &#8220;Apostille&#8221; of documents issued in the Philippines.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Competent Authority for affixing Apostille in the Philippines is the local Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Office of Consula Affairs &#8211; Authentication Division.<br \/>\nIn order to check the Offices &#8211; central and peripheral &#8211; of the said Entity that are authorized for this service, please access the official website of the said Department at: <a href=\"https:\/\/dfa.gov.ph\/\">https:\/\/dfa.gov.ph\/<\/a><br \/>\nThen access the page dedicated to &#8220;Authentication&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Translation of documents<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For the translation of foreign documents into Italian, it is possible to refer to the following (private) translation agencies.<br \/>\nPlease note that this list is not exhaustive of the Translation Agencies practicing in the Philippines, nor should it be construed as binding.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Please be advised that the Consular Office will provide verification of translation compliance only for those acts, issued by the local authorities, that are necessary for proceedings to be initiated at this Embassy (by way of example, birth certificates of minors who are children of Italian citizens to be registered at the consular registry for transmission and transcription to the competent Italian municipality; recent marriage certificates between Italian citizens or between Italian and foreigner to be transmitted to the competent municipality and also necessary for the purpose of issuing visas to the foreign spouse, death certificates for deaths of Italian citizens that occurred in the Philippines). If the above translations have significant errors that cannot be remedied by the Consular Office at the checking stage, an attestation of conformity of the translated document cannot be issued.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1.
