Rules and Regulations on Geographical Indications
The Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines has officially launched the Rules and Regulations on Geographical Indications (RR-GI ) on November 21, 2022, Monday, at the IPOPHL Multipurpose Hall, Taguig City. Following its fifteen-day publication in a national journal of national circulation on November 5, 2022, the RR-GI (Memorandum Circular No. 2022-022) took effect on November 20, 2022.
