CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2022-23 GRANTS FOR FOREIGN AND ITALIAN CITIZENS LIVING ABROAD AWARDED BY THE ITALIAN GOVERNMENT

UPDATE: Final Ranking – Scholarships offered by the Italian Government for the academic year 2022-2023

The Embassy of Italy is pleased to announce the final ranking for the allocation of scholarships for the academic year 2022/2023.

On this occasion, the Embassy of Italy congratulates the winners and the reserves, thanking also all those who presented their application and participated in the selection process.

The winning candidates will receive an automatic “Notification of the grant” of the scholarship by email that they will have to accept. Following the acceptance, the Embassy of Italy in Manila will provide the grantees with an “Awarding Declaration” which will have to be used to complete the administrative procedures for entering Italy.

Potential renunciations of the grants must be promptly communicated to the Embassy, so that the scholarships can be offered to the reserve candidates.

 

UPDATE:  The deadline for sending applications has been extended to 13 June 2022 at 2pm Italian time

 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) offers grants in favour of foreign students and Italian citizens living abroad for the Academic Year 2022-2023 in order to foster cooperation in the cultural, scientific and technological fields, the projection of Italy’s economic system around the world and the dissemination of knowledge of the Italian language and culture.

The scholarships are offered to complete study courses and research/training programs in public or legally recognized Italian educational institutions, and are available to attend academic courses on the Italian territory only.

 

GRANT OPPORTUNITITES

– for Master’s Degree courses,

– for Courses of Higher Education in Arts, Music and Dance (AFAM),

– for a PhD program,

– for Research projects under academic supervision (Progetti in co-tutela) and

– for advanced Italian language and culture courses.

FUNDING PERIOD

Grantees can benefit of the grant in a period of study starting November 1st, 2022 and ending by October 31st 2023.

DEADLINE

The deadline for sending applications – only online upon registration on Study in Italy platform – is June 9th 2022 at 14:00 Italian time. Applications submitted after the deadline will be rejected.
