National Cook-Off Philippines Alessandro Narducci Award

On the occasion of the 5th edition of the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World, the Embassy of Italy in Manila is pleased to present the first edition of the “Alessandro Narducci International Award”, in collaboration with the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines (ICCPI).

Alessandro Narducci was the youngest Italian starred chef known for his passion and brilliant career at home and abroad. Narducci died in a car accident on June 22, 2018, at the age of 29. The Award is in honor of his personality and values, a commemoration of his legacy to inspire future generations of chefs, as well as an initiative to promote Italian cuisine around the world.

The 5 competitors for this year were: Andre Santos (winner), Karl Watson, Ricel Gabi, Laetitia Bugarin and Arik Ibale.

The event that the Embassy organized took place on November 29th at 11:00, streamed online via Zoom and Facebook. The video of the event can be viewed at the following link.
